Elevate Your Yard With a Personalized Pool Installation Service

John Ronay owner of Pools Inc is incredible. We interviewed several pool companies and nobody else had the personal touch John brought to the table. I really got the sense he understood how big of a commitment this was for our family, and he never rushed us into any decisions.
From start to finish, he was quick to respond and always kept us in the loop. This was our first big home project, so early on we were nervous about speaking up when we had questions or needed guidance. John made it clear there are no dumb questions on a pool build, which we really appreciated since we asked him a ton throughout the process.
He was also competitive on price and genuinely cared about our budget. We worked through things together and strategized back and forth on trade-offs plenty of times, and we really valued his input on where to spend and where to save.
John’s work ethic is second to none. He’s incredibly responsive, communicative, and the guy never slows down! There were times we held off on sending an email or text late at night because we knew he’d reply right away. We even joked with him a few times that he should take a break since he seems to be available 24/7.
We couldn’t be happier with our pool. John listened to our vision and delivered that and more!
John’s a stand-up guy with real integrity. He became a friend throughout this build and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s a total pro who actually cares about his clients.

I’ve been wanting to put a pool in my entire life. Man oh man am I glad I chose John Ronay and Pools Inc to do it. It’s a big decision. A lot goes into it….not just about the design or the money, but the details. The little things. So many elements and factors come into play and what’s great about this guy and his team? They are Jedi Masters of ALL the details. My favorite part about this process, which for me and my wife spanned about a year in the planning phase is John never once rushed us. He never once tried to change the plan. He always rolled with our vision to try to bring it to life and he is a master at communication. They were probably some moments when I was texting him more than I was texting my wife, and yet he was always there with a quick answer to guide us through the process. Also, the teams of individuals that he brings in are excellent and highly professional. We walk outside what used to be an empty backyard and we stare into our aqua Oasis paradise. It has completely transformed not just how we view our property, but how we live our lives as we are now spending as much time outside as we spend inside. Sometimes I forget where my bedroom is now 😆 🤣 Heck, my 6 year old would live at the pool bar gazebo if he could. Last thing I will say is, we had a pool growing up, but I was just a kid, so I never went in with the illusion of knowing it all. When it comes to pool care and maintenance, forget about your own level of expertise or experience because John will walk you through his own pool school from the pump to the lights to the cleaning to the chemistry, to everything that you can think of that you need to know to take care of your pool properly, and that was my favorite part, because when all of the construction is done, you want that baby to last forever and he is there to guide you every step of the way. Thanks, again, John, and I would recommend him to absolutely anybody who’s considering an oasis of their own!!

We couldn’t be happier with the experience of our gunite pool. John was so supportive and gave honest and great recommendations thru out the process we ended up with 35x15ft heated, salt water pool with a beautiful natural rock spill over and 50 ft retaining wall . I’m a very hands on and curious person and John was readily available for all my questions. He wasn’t just a builder he became a great friend . Thank you for everything 🙏🏼

We could not be happier with our experience with Pools Inc. From start to finish, their team was professional, timely, and respectful of our home and schedule. They built and installed a beautiful fiberglass pool and spa for us, and the results are absolutely stunning.
What really impressed us was how they took our backyard vision to the next level. They added a gorgeous pergola with a firepit, which perfectly complements the pool area. On top of that, their ability to handle the landscaping and lighting package made the entire space feel complete and cohesive.
It’s rare to find a company that can do it all—and do it with this level of quality and care. Our backyard is now a true retreat, and we have Pools Inc. to thank for bringing it all together. Highly Recommend John and his team.

I vetted several pool companies and they all had their own interests, I’m a contractor myself and when I talked to John I felt more at ease, also he uses buildertrend app that keeps you in constant touch with your contractor with pictures and updates…. Gotta tell you it was refreshing dealing with him… we had the pool started and just about finished in less that 60 days, with permitting getting the hole dug, twisting rebar, and finally getting the gunite shot on the walls, trenches for gas and electric and plumbing…. We just have to wait till spring to do the finish coating inside the pool when the weather warms up…. I can’t say anything other than I’m glad I hired Pools inc…. Every thing was simple and easy….. you’d be amazed

Working with Pools Inc. and John Ronay was the kind of experience that makes you wonder why every major home project can’t be this smooth. From the first design meeting to the final splash, the entire fiberglass pool process felt thoughtful, transparent, and expertly handled.
John took our vague ideas and shaped them into a design that fit our yard, our style, and the way we actually live. His eye for layout and proportions made all the difference, and he never rushed us—every detail was explained clearly, and every question had a real answer.  He found the perfect San Juan pool to fit our space and needs.
Construction was just as impressive. The team showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and kept the site clean and organized. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the finished pool looks even better than the renderings we fell in love with.
If you’re looking for a builder who combines professionalism, creativity, and true pride in their work, Pools Inc. and John Ronay are the ones to call. We couldn’t be happier with our new pool or the experience of building it. Highly recommended.

Our family had a such a great experience with
John! His expertise at designing our pool really brought our LONG TIME backyard vision to life. All of our options, selections and colors were so perfect. We chose the landscaping package. I was a little hesitant to be honest because I was very specific and kind of picky but I am SO HAPPY WE WENT WITH this company because this crew CRUSHED IT! They were so polite and respectful.
This was a big investment for our family and the team always kept us informed and updated on when and what they were going to be doing that day, throughout their entire building process.
The crew was super clean, so kind and paid attention to the small details that our (my lol) family wanted and asked for.
We only had one change during construction, which we thought might turn into a big deal but we were pleasantly surprised at how John and his crew were so understanding and made the changes with no delays to the construction schedule.
We’re thrilled with our new backyard, pool, deck and patio and would recommend the best pool builder in NOVA, Pools Inc, to anyone looking for a just a great, easy to work with, respectful, kind crew! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. LOVE LOVE LOVE my new backyard! Our home is now the new “go to” hangout spot for get togethers and I’m so proud to show it off! Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic experience working with Pools Inc. on the fiberglass pool for our Airbnb property in VA. We wanted something simple, small-scale, and inviting—just the right size for guests to cool off during the summer—and John’s design hit the mark perfectly.
From the first conversation, John understood what we were trying to achieve. He guided us through options, helped us choose a layout that complemented the space, and made the whole process feel effortless. The final result is a clean, beautifully built pool that looks great in photos and has already become a favorite feature for our guests.
Construction was efficient, communication was clear, and the quality is outstanding. If you need a reliable builder who listens and delivers exactly what you envisioned, Pools Inc. is the way to go.

The Team at Pools Inc are amazing. The owner John goes out of his way to be accommodating and was always available when we had questions. His pool design was amazing based off our initial plan ideas. We truly feel he understood us from day one and offered a few “upgrades” that made the project ours. The field team was just as good and we always felt so comfortable as they checked with us at multiple points of the build to ensure things were as we wanted. We will follow up with some pics shortly! Building a pool is a big process, so ensure you get a builder you are comfortable with.
Thanks Pools Inc!!

Absolutely Outstanding Experience with Pools Inc!
We couldn’t be happier with the gunite pool that John designed for us here in Fairfax County. From the start,  communication has been clear, prompt, and friendly — This is a big project and I wanted to do a review now and at the end as we have been so impressed with how the process has gone. We are extremely confident in John and his team.
So far we are getting readily for permitting with a beautiful pool coming our way.
We will update as we go but so far, I highly recommend John and Winter at Pools Inc.

John is a great pool architect and designer. He understands the clients needs and balances the budget to accomplish what the customer desires. Communication was very responsive and open to our concerns with all the facts. We had several challenges in designing a small pool to fit the yard and drainage but he exceeded our expectations.

We were so happy with our new pool build by John and Pools Inc.
We had to move for work the addition to the pool to our home is what set our home aside and allowed the new buyers to fall in love with the house the first time they saw it and put in an offer that same day.
John is the owner and did our design. It was such an easy process and the work turned out amazing. We highly recommend Pools Inc to all of you still stuck in NOVA. Haha.
